Please allow me to share with you a short scenario. If the biomedical engineer or technician does not appropriately calibrate or maintain the diagnostic tool or device the manufacturer has produced, the medical or surgical team may not be able to correctly use the tool to diagnose the patient. Consequently the doctor might issue the wrong prescription based on wrong diagnosis. The recommended medicines dispensed by the dispensary and manufactured by the Pharmacist will not be appropriately utilized. The Nurse might definitely administer the right dose frequencies on the wrongly indicated medication. The medicine will not have the expected therapeutic effect in the patient. The patient may die!

The question then arises. Who killed the patient?

Healthcare for patients has now become so integrated and necessary that the healthcare team collaborate on various sectors and among various disciplines to achieve common goal – ‘enriching lives together…”.
Any system which offers integrated healthcare, focusing on provision of health and medicines, diagnostics, medical equipment, best total cost of equipment ownership, management and procurement, use of medical laboratory tools for assay, detection and scan services cum the appropriate use of pharmaceuticals from health facilities (where well informed medical attention is assured) cannot be underestimated.

In supporting to advance the medical practice within the West African sub-region by AD 2025, Mangel Klicks is currently introducing new technological innovations and will continue to support health professionals with outstanding products and services to shift healthcare to a new and higher level of diagnosis, analysis and care.

We should be able to personalize patient care and improve quality of healthcare. Eventually, there will be several benefits:
- Hospital, Clinics and Care Centers can improve workflows leading to reduced errors and time.
- Practitioners can predict the health concerns or problems of their clients.
- Patients can receive specific tests and treatments at their convenience.

Mangel Klicks intends to eventually combine medical IT technologies with medical imaging portfolios within the same centers of care and integrate these two areas of care into stepped care services.
The real future of medical healthcare practice is encompassed around Integrated Healthcare System and we are building strong capacity for outstanding results.

Mangel Klicks is currently adding value to its line of business and expanding its operations as per its second phase medium term operational plan (2014 – 2018) for the eventual set up of internet pharmacies, stepped care clinics and medical equipment turnkey project management centers in West Africa from its two regional offices.

We are developing strong local and international cooperation with key players in the medical healthcare industry to build outstanding business outcomes in fast growing and emerging healthcare markets in West Africa. This will add to our business concept as we become phenomenon.
