Maersk Line entered the shipping business in Ghana in the late 1950s when it operated through an appointed agent. Eleonora Maersk was the first of the company’s vessels to call Tema in 1958. Maersk Line was incorporated in Ghana in March 1991 and now has established offices in the major business cities of Tema, Takoradi and Kumasi offering customer comfort and easy coordination with other offices. Our Customer service agents can speak English, French which serves as added advantage in dealing with transit/hinterland customers (Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, etc.). The Counter is open from 8.30am – 5pm on working days with no lunch break speeding up the clearance process. All the three offices are connected to the global Maersk Line/A.P.Moller- Maersk network, providing instant information

All Maersk Line vessel services into Tema operate on a weekly fixed day arrival schedule at the terminal thus offering customers second to none reliability in the market. We also have a regular fortnightly service into Takoradi port.
