Women for Peace Organization (WOPO), is a Women-led Non-governmental Organization that promotes peace through economic development, delivery of basic services and expansion of livelihood opportunities to its rural and urban poor population in Ghana.
WOPO’s main activity focus is to empower its members and establish the culture of peace in their hearts so that not only would they take their destiny into their own hands, but also contributes meaningfully to their communities.
Through its activities, women for peace will be a source of hope for the hopeless; Bring joy to the sad; Love and affection to orphans; Vision to the Visionless and as well as a new definition to humanism in Ghana and Africa.
We however believe that people must be free to live creative lives in pursuit of
