The EIGHT FOUNDATION is a non-profit charity set up in April 2017 to empower the about 1,500,000 Ghanaians living with asthma to take control of their asthma.
We aspire to work to:
- reduce the number of deaths and hospital visits caused by asthma
- increase the number of people receiving the right information and support, to manage their asthma.
We plan to support people with asthma and their families by providing a wide range of high quality information and educational services – all free of charge.
Our goal is to drive change nationally by raising awareness, supporting innovative research and advocating for universal access to the best asthma care.
We aim to work actively with health care professionals, industry and government to provide expert information and keep asthma prevention and management high on the national agenda.
