General Services Officer
Company: A multi-disciplinary engineering firm targeted to improving quality of life through partnerships and infrastructure needs. We have an available full-time employment job role for a General Services Officer.
Job Description:
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations in the Office.
To support Management planning and budgeting general services and transportation activities, based on company programs.
To ensure the management of operating activities and services related to the maintenance of the company’s vehicles, and equipment, also collating a list of service providers and artisans and ensuring the supply of purchases of the defined standards of cost and quality.
To support the Management for operating activities related to general services such as supplies monitoring, and activities aimed to provide company personnel with smooth delivery of official daily activities in the main and project offices.
Design strategy and set goals for task delegation to produce results.
To provide operating support in the supervision of Drivers and Office Assistant.
To guarantee the necessary relevant support to employees, project office staff and visitors for general services aspects.
To act in compliance with the code of ethics, company regulations, HSE applicable regulatory documents and processes and also ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
BSc. in Operations Management, Project Management, Business Administration or higher qualification.
Experience of general services in the office and in the engineering industry.
Ability to work hard and work smart effortlessly.
Good PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Outlook, Internet).
Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to unexpected situations.
Management of external suppliers in an operating context.
Holder of valid Driver’s License Class B with at least 2 years of driving experience.
