African Union Day Music Concert

The African Union Day Music Concert is a live musical show designed to mark the celebration of the formation of the African Union {AU}. This year’s celebration marks the 52nd Anniversary of the Organization of African Unity / African Union {OAU/AU} under the theme “Pan Africanism and African Renaissance”. This year’s musical concert has been scheduled for Saturday 25th May, 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre {AICC}. The day is set aside to commemorate the establishment, the achievements and the successes of the formation of a formidable common front for the African Union (AU). Since its establishment, the day has been observed as a statutory public holiday in Ghana and other African Union member countries.
In 2012, with the collaboration of the Multi Media Group, comprising of Joy Fm, Hitz Fm, Adom Fm, Asempa Fm and Multi TV {Cine Afrik, Hitz Tv, Joy News and Adom Tv} and other related multimedia group network, RAM Media Concepts and Kofi Okoto Productions organized the “African Union Day Peace Concert” at the National Theatre on 24th May, 2012.
