Poor customer service and emotional abuse by Dr Nkrumah
I have heard many complaints about poor services at hospitals but never have I heard about emotional abuse. I have just experienced the worst of service from one Dr. Nkrumah few minutes ago at the Sakumono community hospital. Having waited in the queue knowing I was the second but last to be served, Dr Nkrumah walks out of the office and says" I have to go to the labor ward so you will have to wait for sometime". Having considered how long I had waited and how much more I needed to before my two daughters would be attended to, I exclaimed "oh my God" Out of the blue I heard a response to my surprise "YOU ARE GREEDY" in an angry tone from Dr. Nkrumah. So I asked why I was called greedy and he says"someone else needed my services and you are here saying oh my God". I stood confused as I wondered what could have warranted such a response from a Dr. Who was supposed to give me a tangible reason why my kids had to wait for someone else to be attended to but rather called me greedy. So he comes back few minutes later and calls in the last person in the queue. At this point I could not hold my patience any longer and walks in to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction about the whole service so far. Then he exploded again" I will call you greedy 100times because you are not human. You are so full of yourself and I don't know who you think you are". To be frank, at this point I was boiling to the point that if I should leave the hospital without saying a word, I would have exploded. I told him my piece of my mind and gave a fair share to all the nurses who came to his defence.
I left without being attended to knowing very well I would not receive the desired service with such an attitude from Dr. Nkrumah.

The doctor could not have described you any better. There is something called emergency in medical practice and they take priority over routine visits. The doctor probably had not even had the chance to eat!
