Reviews of Avis Car Rentals - Accra

Rude and not customer friendly!! I was 1 minute late returning the rental due to a traffic accident. I called the agent to make him aware but he only made it worse by telling me I had 8 mins or I would be charged an additional day. They charged me for an additional day for being literally 1 min late! When I rented the vehicle I asked the agent if I could drop it off that night because I only needed it for 6 hours & would have a difficult time finding someone to pick me up the following day but was told I could not drop off after hours. This could have avoided all the stress I suffered trying to find a ride back home during a time when my husband was at work & avoid taking our sick daughter out in bad weather. On top of all that I was so worried about getting it back on time that I didn't fill the fuel up all the way so they charged me $44 dollars for the 4 gallons that it was short. The agent at the Kennesaw, Ga Avis was rude & not willing to assit me in any way, not even as much as open the door for me since I had my 4 year old, her car seat, her blanket & my purse all in my hands, he just watched me struggle with the door from behind his little counter. This was my first time & my last using Avis. I will walk before I ever use this company again! RENTER BEWARE!!!
