Reviews of Fly 540 Africa - Accra

Absolutely horrible services! I am a student volunteering in a clinic in Ghana. I used 540 to travel domestically and my luggage was mysteriously ‘lost’ and I was left with my purse and the clothes on my back for 8 days. I checked it at the counter and watched every single bag come through upon arrival. All of the airports in Ghana were contacted at it was not found. Clearly someone from the staff had something to do with this, there is no other way it could simply disappear on a one way flight. I had between $700-1000 of clothing and toiletries but was only reimbursed $180 ($20/kg). As if that wasn’t bad enough, they tried to have me collect my money when they weren’t even open!! And when I finally was able to make arrangements to get back to the airport, they asked me to wait for them to finish lunch even though the money was already ready for pick up. One of the guys on staff spent the entire time harassing my friend for her phone number. If they paid that amount of attention to my bag, it probably wouldn’t be lost now. Appalling services. I thought the system at the airport would at least be reliable.
