Company description
The National Nuclear Research Institute (NNRI) of the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) derives its goals and objectives from the functions prescribed in Act 588 of 2000. The Institute is also responsible for the operation of all nuclear facilities in the country.

In addition to research activities, the Institute provided services and engages in commercial activities in the areas of non-destructive, radioisotopes, radioactive waste management; and elemental analytical service were provided to various clients in the mining, petroleum, chemical industries, etc.
