The National Reconstructive Plastic Surgery And Burns Centre

The centre has a total bed complement of 69 beds which is distributed among the units of the centre as follows :

Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Unit: This unit consist of male - 9 beds, female - 9 beds and children - 6 cots and admits patients with congeniatal deformities, accidents, cancers and complications resulting from burns.

The Burns Unit: This unit consist of male - 6 beds, female - 6 beds and children - 6 cots and 6 beds for the intensive care and admits all kinds of burns especially the severe ones.

The Leg Ulcer Unit: This unit consist of female and children -10 beds, male 8 and admits all kinds of chronic ulcers especially the Buruli Ulcers.

Even though the centre's facilities level is not adequate as wished by the centre, the centre can boast of what the center has as enough for the centres smooth operations.

The centre has among its facilities, two (operating theatres) which is the main pivot of the centre, two(2) consulting rooms and other more.
