Accountant

1. Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts and reconciling entries.
2. Perform the essential day to day and month-end activities required for accurate reporting.
3. File and maintain all journal entries for internal and audit purposes.
4. Review cash deposits and prepare cash receipt journal entries.
5. Daily update of customer statements.
6. Assist with Monthly Account/Bank reconciliations.
7. Provide appropriate accounting information to customers when needed.
8. Processing cheques and cash to the bank on daily basis.
9. Issue receipts for all monies received by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
10. Preparing daily cash account collection report
11. Ensure daily lodgment and proper records of cheques both received and issued.
12. Entering of invoices for all sales made to customers.
13. Printing/writing of cheques.
14. Raising of payment vouchers to support all cash and cheque disbursements.
