Requisition and apply fertilizer per prescriptions for commodity production fields, and in research fields via other specific protocols as instructed by research investigators. Oversee a team to produce the highest quality raw product for long term storage.
Identify/implement crop management practices to enhance quality of production.
Evaluate current and new production practices.
Scale all operations of the business to ensure the proper utilization of capital/human resources.
Adapt and implement new Agricultural Technologies into the operation.
Oversee the successful completion of Annual Food Safety audits.
Provide long term strategy for growth of the operation.
Post-secondary education in Agriculture and/or Business.
3-5 Years of relevant experience.
Experience preparing and managing budgets.
People management experience.
Willingness to work flexible hours is required.
