Job Purpose
Responsible for managing all aspects of the final contractual and financial side of construction projects. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
CONSTRUCTION PHASE
Valuing completed work and arranging for payments for subcontractors
Preparation of project plans
Monitoring actual expenditure figures against project budgets
Site measurements for bi-weekly valuation of work for a subcontractor
Preparation of monthly project valuation for payment by the client.
Administering sub-contract activities
Responsible for costing, estimating and planning projects
Identifying, costing and processing any contract variations
Track activities against the detailed project plans
Monitoring actual expenditure figures against project budgets
Resource Management and control
Site measurements for bi-weekly valuation of work
Organising and facilitating project meeting
PRE CONTRACT STAGE
Preparing and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs
Advising on a wide range of legal and contractual issues
Detailed taking off and preparation of Bill of Quantities
Pricing (Market Surveys / Estimating)
Responsible for costing, estimating and planning projects
Resource requirement planning
