Shito or black pepper as called in Ghana is a hot or mild aromatic condiment or sauce prepared from about 80% finely grind dry ingredients in vegetable oil.
Usage: same for ketchup and chilli oils as accompaniment. For rice, banku, cold meat, dips, stir fires.
Vegetarian Shito / Chilli Sauce (WITHOUT FISH OR PRAWNS) are also available.
