The Aburi gardens is established officially in 1890 has grown to be one of the best botanical gardens in Ghana and West Africa. Only a smaller portion of the land has been cultivated into the botanical gardens while the larger part remains the botanical reserves. It provides an educational and aesthetic experience to visitors. It also gives knowledge about scientific farming methods to the southeastern Ghana. It has a serene path and with its tropical flora, attracts birds and butterflies of various species.

The Kwahu Hills is a place that attracts people for cooler moment with themselves is a nice place to be for paragliding and hiking. Easter celebration here is seen by the indigenes as the time for homecoming while visitors see it as a moment for celebration. The easter celebration on these hills has become an annual thing where people gather for merrymaking and relaxation to enjoy the carnivals, street jams, hiking as well as paragliding. As one climbs the hill, he or she will encounter wonderful varieties of birds and butterflies.
