Kwady Chemist - Tema

Dishonest people. I went in and asked them if they had a medication of a specific strength. They told me they had to go and pick it up, so they took my number in case anything changed and told me I could come for it the next day. I paid an agreed price in advance.
The next day came, and they told me to come back again. Following day, same story. Day after that, same thing. Sent my dad in to pick it up for me, since I couldn't make it, and they finally gave it to him on Thursday, four days after the agreed delivery date. They ended up giving him half the agreed mg, and also wound up increasing the price on the spot, claiming it had gone up overnight. I never received any call from them throughout the waiting period till the pickup period that they couldn't fulfill their end of the bargain of providing me with the specified and AGREED amount, nor did they inform me earlier of the change in price.
I called and asked for a refund, because I had the receipt and everything intact, and they, especially the complete moron of a girl who is apparently the "operations manager"/ sales girl were incredibly shady about giving me my money back. They tried to convince me to accept the situation, although they acknowledged that they were at fault for not communicating with me earlier about the fact that they couldn't fulfil their end of the deal. Eventually, the owner, I assume, refunded the entire amount when I wouldn't let them walk all over me.
Very disappointed at the brazen dishonesty and lack of professionalism by this pharmacy. It's pathetic that a company like this lives up to the stereotype of deceitful Ghanaian business practices.
People like this tend to assume they can keep cheating customers who may not know better, as they have clearly been doing unchecked for a long time. It's about time customers get well-educated on what they want, and insist on high quality service from those who have made it their business to provide them to us.
