Kufuor Clinic - Kumasi

I think I am being scammed by some people who tell me if I don't send them money then this person who is in this clinic or private hospital will die. Seems out of character that a doctor calls me directly and gives me an emailto and the account to where the money is to be sent is an account with a bank. So I call this bank and they tell me when the money is sent a worker from the hospital will come over and take the cash and pay for a surgery. The clinic is called Anokye clinic. Please help me with this answer
