The Quarry site is located behind Blueskies factory, about 4.5km west of Doboro on the Accra-Nsawam Road in the Akuapim South District of the Eastern Region and can be accessed through the Doboro-Chinto feeder road. The quarry size is about 47.14 acres, that is, 19.07 hectares.
The massive rock deposit consists mainly of biotite granites and granodiorite of the Cape Coast Granitic Complex. They are light-gray to dark-gray in colour, fine to medium grained and compact.
Their characteristics make them suitable especially as road and building construction materials as well as concrete aggregates for other construction works.
