The Mobile Operations Manager is responsible for managing the mobile in-vehicle speed enforcement operations and team including, but not limited to, scheduling, monitoring, fleet management and providing response services to drivers. He /She is also responsible for mapping routes and schedules for the team to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s operations. The Mobile Operations Manager reports to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling of mobile in-vehicle speed enforcement operations in close coordination with our client.
  • Assessment of routes and reporting route deviations.
  • Management of drivers and observers including hiring, training, vetting, scheduling, and continuous performance assessment.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to secure 100% operational integrity.
  • Attend to accidents/incidents that might affect the safety of drivers and/or the integrity of the program.
  • Management of all operational enforcement cars, and fuel consumption, including scheduling of service & maintenance.
  • Collate information and evidence to support investigations into incidents and provide reports on them.
  • Undertake operational support duties as required to include, but not limited to performance monitoring, contingency planning, and auditing of operational processes.
  • Ensure timely reporting of issues regarding the enforcement equipment to the technical staff.

  • Education Required: Associated Degree

    Requirements
    • Experience of at least 5 years in fleet management required with responsibility for fleet and personnel.
    • Demonstrate Integrity and Trustworthiness.
    • Must be familiar with the road network in Ghana.
    • Must be familiar with the usage of Google Maps, Smartphones, and other navigation and planning tools.
    • Must have experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational procedures.
    • Accurate and well-developed analytical skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Decision-making skills and good judgment ability.
    • Hands-on, flexible and dynamic.
    • Determined to make a lifesaving difference to road users.
