If a design solution includes using a PLC from a specific vendor such as Siemens, KERSL will have to purchase it from Siemens’ distributor in Ghana. However, KERSL is an alliance partner with National Instruments – South Africa, and has chosen the National Instruments platform for many of its design solutions and is promoting this platform in education, research and industry in Ghana.
