Habana Medical Service

Habana Medical Service (HMS), the Premier Private Hospital in Northern Ghana was founded in 2011 by Dr Thomas Winsum Anabah, a Consultant Anaesthesiologist with Masters in Critical Care and Emergencies. Barely four years after its foundation, HMS turned into a multiple international award winning facility for its quality of care and reliable services.
HMS has recently moved from its old nine in-patient bed capacity facility to a newly constructed 30 in-patient bed user friendly edifice that commensurate its status as the preferred private health facility in northern Ghana. The new facility has spacious lobby, a modern theater and laboratory, well resourced critical care unit, spacious and private labour suite. Habana also has variety of wards for clients to choose from. As the first in northern Ghana to introduce Electronic Medical Records System, we are able to reduce our turn-around time, improve confidentiality, protect and conserve client information adequately.
