Naoki Takyo Photography Ltd has been established in Ghana in 2013 by an internationally active Japanese photographer. The company delivers high quality products encompassing a wide range of photography services such as commercial, studio and location portraits (including fashion shoots), corporate and private functions and events (including wedding and birthday parties), theater/performance/on-stage, photojournalism and fine arts. Post-production editing/enhancement of digital photos and graphic designing are also undertaken by the company. In Ghana, the company has so far provided its service to Ogilvy & Mather, Orca Deco, Eurostar Global Limousine, media agencies, fashion magazine, TV personalities, music artists and so on.

The Managing Director/Principal Photographer, Naoki Takyo, is a former UN poverty reduction and conflict recovery manager. During the past 3 decades, Naoki lived in and travelled to many parts of the world. In 2011, he captured the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s visit to observe the impact of climate change on the Pacific island nation of Kiribati as official photographer for UN Country Team in the Pacific. Naoki was the official photographer for the Oceania Dance Theatre’s famed production ‘VAKA: The Birth of a Seer’. In August 2013, Australian Photography + Digital Magazine featured Naoki’s work. Naoki’s photos have been used by various clients including, the United Nations, media agencies, advertisement agencies, publishing companies, universities and Australian Photographic Society. His work have been exhibited by artistic photo salons in a number of countries. Naoki received professional photography training from New York Institute of Photography (double merit awards) and also holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University, New York.
