WOLO is an African E-Learning Project. It is a platform created to offer education and skills training to Africans. WOLO is a Ga language word which means “Book.”
Our story is part of an irresistible digital revolution which is taking place in Africa. Many countries have worked hard to improve access to basic education, but there is still significant work to be done. Today, in sub-Saharan Africa, there are 32.6 million children of primary school age and 25.7 adolescents who are not in school. The quality of education also remains an issue but we believe technology could be part of the solution.
