Priority Insurance Company Limited (“Priority”) is a wholly-owned Ghanaian insurance company incorporated on the 8th of September, 2011. The National Insurance Commission (NIC/NL/PRIO 025/12) has granted Priority a license to underwrite non-life insurance business in accordance with the Insurance Law of 2006 (Act 724). Priority is part of the Tobinco Group of Companies (“the Group”), a renowned name in the Ghanaian economy, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. The Group's decision to establish Priority was driven by their vision to both diversify their investments and contribute to developing the insurance market in Ghana. Priority has set a goal of creating a brand that will be embraced by their clients.
