 Ensures adequate inventory of spares for plant maintenance
 Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of funds in budget
 Responsible for the implementation of maintenance programs like TPM.
 Participate in hiring of new maintenance employees and training
 Directly In charge of the management of technical stores ensuring proper storage of spares
 Maintain contacts with all departments especially production team on matters concerning maintenance of equipment and building
 Ability to trouble shoot and analyse mechanical problems including hydraulic/pneumatic system and static/dynamic relative equipment such as pumps, gearbox, conveyor, agitator, compressor, hydraulic press; etc

 Responsible for supervising 590TPD wheat flour milling project and 480 pack/hr bran pelleting plant in progress and ensures that all issues related to the projects are clarified and completed to avoid confusion and interruption during execution of projects.
 Execution and monitoring of the project following budget and contract conditions
 Execution of Mechanical, Electrical erections and automation works as per work schedule
 Plan and update schedule and work plan as per progress of civil, construction and mechanical works
 Supervise and monitors main contractors, sub-contractors and the local workers to work with permits.
 Ensuring the quality of the project as per Olam standards
 Keeping the EHS standards at all over the site
 Keep track of all activities, and ensure constant remind and intimate the manager of what needs to be done as reminder in order to meet up with deadlines
 Evaluate the nature and condition of projects and make useful suggestions to the manager on the best practices and strategies to apply in project execution.
 As a record keeper, I attend meetings with the manager and pays appropriate attention throughout to get details of items discussed at the meeting and run them by the manager when needed.
 Constantly seeks advice and direction from the manager, and work independently in the absence of the manager.

 Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, utility and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of Olam Grain’s business goals and objectives .
 Actively involved in the installation of equipment with ALAPALA engineering (A Turkish company) in the plant. Taking measurement of machine base and transferring onto concrete floor, checking the levelness of the machine on the floor, transporting the heavy duty equipment from one location to another, involvement in certain calculations to lead to cutting metal pieces for fabrication,
 Maintain and repair plant equipments such as Roller Mills, Hammer Mill, Classifier Dry Stoner , Bucket Elevators, Vibrators, Air Locks, Blowers, Grain Separators, Bran Finishers, Horizontal Scourers, Plan Sifters, Conveyors: ( Chain, Screw, Pneumatic ), Pressure Fans, Rotary Magnet, Jet Filters,
Sifters: (Vibro, Double turbo), Air recycling Tara’s, Cyclones, and Detachers: (Drum, Impact),
 Analyze and troubleshoot problems associated with compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, Motors, Gears and Gearboxes, Bearings, Hydraulic, Plant machineries and fix them using the standard assembling procedures
 Carry out breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance, visually inspect equipment and operating systems and correct where necessary.
 Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality
 Responsible for giving technical trainings to internship personnel on the scope of maintenance works related to the Milling equipment

 Maintains and repair plant equipments such as Jumbo Roller Dryer’s, Star Valves, Butterfly Valves, Pressure Control Valves, Hammer Mill, Di-Stoner, Grain Separators, Jet filters, Bucket Elevators, Aspirations, Heat Exchangers, Applicator Guides, A.H.U Systems, Roller Dryer Knives, , Gearboxes, Gears, Bearings , Motors, Steam Strainers, and Centrifugal Pumps
 Troubleshooting and rectification of problems associated with Compressors, Pneumatic Systems, and Hydraulic Systems.
 Responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, new machine installation, predictive maintenance, lubrication, adjust, repair.
 Assist the Milling / processing team in their preventive maintenance by removing parts such as spouts, aspiration lines, filters that requires technical knowledge for removing for cleaning and assembling when cleaning is completed.
 Move round running machines during operation to listen, feel and observe the conditions such and report the status quo to the line supervisor or manager for action to be taken
 Adhere to all maintenance programs with regards to work environment safety, food safety, quality management systems and reports near misses for solutions to be found
 Completes scheduled work orders according to repair requests and preventive maintenance programs.
 Analyses and recommends potential opportunities to improve equipment efficiencies and effectiveness.
 Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures
 Show expertise in working with team and independently

 Assembled and set various boring slotting and turning heads
 Routinely monitored the feed and speed of the machine during the machine process
 Lubricated parts and performed minor maintenance to improve machine function
 Operated heavy duty lathes, boring machine and mills, planers, shapers and grinders
 Interpreted drawings and planned work in proper operational sequence on multi-cut jobs
 Adhere to all safety protocols and safety work practices to reduce likelihood of injury.
 Clearly distinguish needed items from unneeded items and eliminate the latter
 Kept needed items in the correct place to allow for easy and immediate retrieval
 Developed an effective preventive maintenance schedule for all shop equipments. Due to my hard work and diligence, I was transferred to the Infant Cereal Plant as a Milling / Processing Plant Technician.

 Report maintenance issues that that are beyond my control while on duty to my immediate supervisor or head of department for appropriate decision making
 As a General Plant Maintenance Technician, I cultivated a great desire and studied much on our two Boilers (Cleaver Brooks 10T and John Thompson 16T Boilers). Which includes: Boiler Safety Procedures, Boiler Firing and Controls, Water Softening, Desecrating of Feed Water, Chemical Injection, Boiler Water Analysis and General Maintenance Procedures
