GRADUATE TRAINEE (NABCO)

As an Agriculture Extension Agent, my day to day responsibilities include:
● Helping to increase farmer productivity by assisting them to adopt and implement new and improved farming methods.
● Continually creating awareness about new knowledge and technological development among important stakeholders as well as their systematic implementation in the field.
● Evaluating and determining the knowledge gaps of farmers and helping to close those gaps through the organization of different training programmes.
● Supporting and promoting the use of new tools and technology to improve agricultural yield.

As a teaching assistant at the University of Cape Coast, I:
● Helped improve student success by providing expert tutorials and project assistance to students.
● Supervised and graded quizzes and examinations of students.
● Helped ensure successful lectures by providing assistance to lecturers.
● Organized and supervised students during practical lab sessions.

As a student intern at the Cocoa Processing Company, I provided assistance to the laboratory department by:
● Performing chemical and microbiological analysis of cocoa beans and processed cocoa products.
● Labeling and sorting samples accurately.
● Maintaining lab equipment in good working condition.
● Maintaining inventory of lab supplies and reported any shortages to management.
● Preparing solutions for lab analysis.
● Applying HACCP and PDCA principles to cocoa processing.
● Conducting factory environmental monitoring and inspection.
● Performing water quality analysis.
