Established in 2006, MSI Ghana is an affiliate of MSI Reproductive Choices and is one of the largest specialized Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) organisations in Ghana. MSI Ghana complements the Ministry of Health and Child Care in the provision of quality and affordable general health and SRH services in all regions of Ghana.
MSI RCL Ghana has a vacancy for a passion driven, well-organized, client-oriented and energetic individuals with the below relevant qualifications and experience. MSI RCL Ghana’s goal is to meet the needs of the underserved and improve access to the use of Family Planning (FP) and other Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) services. At MSI Reproductive Choices Limited we are unapologetically pro-choice. We believe that every woman has the right to make choices about her own body and her own future.
The Centre Midwife will be responsible for providing high quality core MSIG clinical services in the assigned centre of excellence.The post will be based in Kumasi. The duties and responsibilities presented below may change as centre activities evolve and expand with time.

Education Required: Graduate Degree
- To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Must be registered with a recognized local clinical professional body in Ghana and of good standing
- Must have a recognized clinical qualification in Midwifery
- Must have requisite experience to work with minimum supervision
- At least 2- year post-graduation experience in a Midwifery position
- A commercial mindset to grow clinics and meet set targets
- Experience of working in Sexual and Reproductive Health
- Excellent provider-client interaction skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Work experience with Ghana Health Service and/or an INGO
- Articulate and analytical with attention to detail
- Knowledge of health delivery system in Ghana
- Must be multi-skilled and passionate about maternal health
- Must have requisite experience to work with minimum supervision
- Sympathetic to women and men seeking Family Planning and Reproductive Health services
- Be able to work on own initiative and at longer periods
- Customer focused with good interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels – government, donor and community
- Motivates team members to deliver high quality service and results
- Team player, self-motivator and able to motivate others to achieve results
